Created in 1995, vanCollier began as an antique and design company. For over 20 years, Beth vanDorp Collier and Chris Collier have collaborated on numerous projects, ranging from interior design to infill development. With influences from antiquity to contemporary design, vanCollier took their vision to the next step by designing a line of custom furniture and accessories. Many of their pieces are produced with hand forged steel bases that are handpainted with beautiful finish options. Creations include Art Nouveau inspirations to a twist on Southern culture. All of their pieces merge modern design and classical details and are manufactured by artists and artisans in North Carolina. Collections include metal, wood, lighting, upholstery and accessories. They focus on offering custom pieces based on their curated designs tailored to the needs of clients. vanCollier is located in a historic hospital of Georgian design built in 1907 in the original Washington, North Carolina.
